They offer great and suitable resources that fit our needs. So, my expectations were at their peak. And finally I got an email from them the next morning. And guess what? My first contact was Dr. Satwik Joglekar of Brickwork…
Brickwork and Your Man In India
I had a 20 minute discussion with Dr. Satwik Joglekar and it was a brilliant experience. Although I had to face difficulty while communicating with him because my accent was not that good, I somehow managed. He has a great accent and fabulous communicating skills. The embarrassing factor was, I was asking him to repeat his words again and again because I could not understand what he was saying.
Then I got in touch with Pushpa from yourmaninindia. She sent me description services and a contract agreement as if I am agreeable to the terms and conditions and signed the agreement, I would be assigned a Virtual Assistant within 21 days. They also offered me a trial period which was really impressive. But what was the cost?
What do they charge?
Brickwork India was really impressive. WHY? Because they have expertise to handle anything. But the most important thing was my budget, which really matters. Minimum to get started working with Brickwork, I had to pay $600 a month for 30 hours of work. It was not according to the budget mentioned in Ferriss’ book.
YMII was way reasonable, because they offered a cost starting from $15 per hour but went down to $7 if I commit to 160 hours per month.
In the end, I decided to work with Kaya Systems Inc at $6.5/hr. Not because they were offering less prices, in fact their dedication impressed me very much. They were so responsible and put their time in responding and answering all my queries. They were very clear about what they can provide and what they can’t, what they are good at and what they are not suitable for.
My Very First Assignment
I found myself comfortable with Yourmaninindia and Kaya Systems.
I had to wait for a few weeks to start working with Ymii so me and Hassan from Kaya Systems Inc started doing the things. Kaya works on two steps: first one is taking all the tasks and understanding the requirements and second is transferring the work to their colleagues.
Then came to Ymii. I was really excited to work with them because they were also ready to take me as a client. I was expecting more from them than kaya. Depth of research and analysis. What makes the difference is, ymii sent me a report that took 3 hours to understand. And then Hassan emailed me some questions that I wanted him to answer. He delivered a report which was such a beauty, organized very well and objectives were very clear. It was more than I expected for just $18.
Bottom Line
For me, Kaya Systems was a real conqueror.
No doubt Yourmaninindia is still an excellent company and I made a good working relationship with them. But Kaya Systems Inc is such a dedicated company and they provide brilliant virtual assistant services at very affordable prices.
